As the first trip drew to a close on 3 January 1985, our train back to Beijing drew into Dahushan where one last surprise awaited. On the other side of the station, RM 1023 backed down onto a Tongliao train. A quick dash across the tracks secured a shot. Then it was back to face the wrath of the enraged dragon lady in our coach. No regrets though. It was the only decent picture of an RM on a train we'd got all trip.camera : Mamiya 645
