JiTong Rly : Daban Depot

Working Nights

Ailing locomotives need to be returned to service quickly whatever the time of day. In the Daban's maintenance shop work went on day and night to keep the last 23 QJs in full working order. There were barely enough locomotives left to handle the traffic on offer so repairs couldn't wait until tomorrow. QJ 7081, the regular passenger engine, recieved attention to its motion in the company of QJ 7049 and QJ 7143 on the evening of 5 September 2005.
