QJ.6978 had a break for water and fire cleaning at Lindong on the afternoon of 29 November 2002.JiTong perpetuated the system of allocating each loco to a team of three crews, encouraging them to take ownership and look after their engines. The result was a lot of clean engines, many of them with additional decorations.
