Morning Glory
No.043 had departed from Lixin around 03:00 and should could have reached Huanan before sunrise on 18 November 2008. Once more fate intervened and we found the loco failed around 4km from its destination, shortly after 06:00. After we'd given one of the crew a lift to the depot to get part of the regulator valve repaired, the train finally set off on the last leg of its journey in glorious light at 07:20. This was the penultimate coal train to run at Huanan during its brief November 2008 revival.camera : Nikon D2x
