A Change For The Better

The removal of the chimney cowling and remounting of the headlight have made a huge difference to the appearance of JS 6251. It's a change for the better in my opinion. The loco basked in late afternoon sunshine at the servicing point on 2 March 2008.

Behind the JS were lines of hopper wagons, intended for power station coal traffic but never used. A tank wagon used for carrying coal tar can also be seen.
